Kerfing Hardwood: the basics

Kerfing hardwood is easier than you think. I go over the tools you’ll need, how to dial in your blade height, and how to get uniform spacing between kerfs. Finally I show you how to make a simple shelf out of a 24”x5 x 7/8” piece of poplar by kerfing two 90* bends in the each end. NOTE: drill bit is 1/8”.
